The San Francisco born Dj/Producer launched his career in the edm scene as a Dj and a rave promoter in San Francisco, USA. In 2001, his exquisite taste and vast knowledge of dance music earned him the position as Drum N Bass and Breakbeat purchaser for Sacramento's premier vinyl shop, In The Mix Records. Since then, he became a mainstay in the EDM scene organizing shows and playing countless events in front of thousands of people throughout California.
In 2004, Vega co-founded the renowned San Francisco club night, Rhythm Method, a monthly event which brought the biggest international names in drum n bass like Black Sun Empire, Gridlok, Calyx, Spor a.k.a Feed Me, Break and many more. After 3 years of his succes with Rhythm Method, Vega started to produce Electro & Progressive House with tracks signed to American record labels Girl Tok, Nuphonic Rhythm, and E.M.G. Recordings. Vega now based in the Philippines, continues his international rise to prominence. Now with his show, the BLU Energy Drink Breakthrough which airs every Friday at 106.7 Home Radio from 9pm to 12am, expect Vega to walk you through the history of a music genre that covers a very large amount of different music genres under its' umbrella to the latest on EDM artists, news, interviews, music reviews, BLU EDM events and more!
